House painter — York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a house painter in York County, Maine. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. On a typical shift you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. What we are looking for: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
