We are recruiting: fire and safety officer (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Dillon County, South Carolina. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions The role involves: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Part-time with flexible hours.
