On a typical shift you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
