Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls.
