GTAW welder wanted in Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Lake County, Illinois. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot You will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
