Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Cumberland County, Virginia. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
