Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in New Hanover County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
