Shuttering carpenter — Tucker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Tucker County, West Virginia. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
