Tiling assistant — Calcasieu Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges. Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
