Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Mower County, Minnesota. The role involves run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
