Wood machinist — Newton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Newton County, Mississippi. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
