Gtaw welder wanted in Glasscock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Glasscock County, Texas. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
