Tower crane operator — Phillips County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
