Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Union County, South Dakota. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
