Semi-automatic welder — Smith County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Smith County, Kansas. You will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time, day shift. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
