Safety marshal — Sumner County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges.
