We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Routt County, Colorado. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
