Immediate opening: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Emmet County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
