Sample machinist wanted in City and Borough of Leeds

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in City and Borough of Leeds, England. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience.
