LGV Class 1 driver • Macon County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Macon County, Georgia. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Your main tasks: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
