Safety inspector — McPherson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in McPherson County, South Dakota. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
