The role involves: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
