Single needle operator wanted in Turner County

Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Turner County, South Dakota. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
