Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Decatur County, Iowa. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Rotating shifts.
