360 excavator operator — Marion County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Marion County, Alabama. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 2+ years on the tools preferred.
