Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
