We are recruiting: canteen cook (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Erie County, New York. On a typical shift you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
