Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Muhlenberg County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Six days a week, one day off.
