Scaffolder — Cayuga County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolder in Cayuga County, New York. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. Day-to-day duties: • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
