Restoration bricklayer — Vermilion Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
