Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Echols County, Georgia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear.
