Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Edwards County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
