Semi-automatic welder — Columbia County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Columbia County, Georgia. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
