Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Hancock County, West Virginia. The job is at an accident repair centre. You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Rotating shifts.
