On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
