Lift installation engineer — Orleans Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Performance bonus on top of base pay.
