Site carpenter — Herefordshire

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Herefordshire, England. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
