MIG/MAG welder — Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy production line. On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
