Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Craven County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
