Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Calhoun County, Michigan. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
