On a typical shift you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
