Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Scotland County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 4+ years on the tools preferred.
