Great opportunity: lifting rigger (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Rowan County, Kentucky. The job is at a container port. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
