Lifting rigger wanted in Perry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Perry County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals 5+ years on the tools preferred.
