Argon welder — Lenawee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Lenawee County, Michigan. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred.
