Lathe operator — Hamblen County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Hamblen County, Tennessee. The job is in a textile mill. Day-to-day duties: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Good attention to detail and steady hands Rotating shifts.
