Vertical transportation technician — Jeff Davis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Jeff Davis County, Texas. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts.
