Foundry worker wanted in Turner County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Turner County, South Dakota. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
