Turning centre operator wanted in St. Clair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in St. Clair County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret Overtime paid at a premium rate.
