Now hiring: site carpenter (Kaduna State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Kaduna South, Kaduna State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
